About the Role:
The Surface Well Testing (SWT) Site Supervisor is responsible for leading and supervising Surface Well Testing operations at the worksite, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of all activities. The role oversees personnel, equipment, operational planning, client communication, and HSE compliance while ensuring operational readiness, data integrity, and adherence to company and client standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise all Surface Well Testing operations, including equipment preparation, rig-up, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, rig- down, and mobilization while ensuring compliance with company procedures and HSE standards.
• Coordinate daily operations with engineers, field coordinators, operations managers, clients, and third-party contractors to ensure safe and efficient project execution.
• Supervise field personnel by assigning tasks, mentoring team members, evaluating performance, and ensuring crew competency and compliance with operational procedures.
• Monitor equipment performance, review operational data, oversee pressure testing, preventive maintenance, quality control activities, and verify the accuracy of field reports and documentation.
• Ensure all operational documentation, including SOPs, JSAs, equipment certifications, daily job reports, incident reports, maintenance records, and client documentation, is completed accurately and submitted on time.
• Promote a strong safety culture by leading safety meetings, enforcing PPE requirements, reporting incidents and near misses, maintaining housekeeping standards, and driving continuous improvement in operational performance and quality.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or Technical Diploma in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5–7 years of Surface Well Testing field experience, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong leadership, team management, mentoring, and decision-making skills in field operations.
• Proficiency in Surface Well Testing equipment, troubleshooting, well testing software, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and technical reporting skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to work at remote locations and respond effectively to emergency situations.
