About the Role:
The Stimulation Desk Engineer is responsible for providing engineering support for well stimulation operations, including treatment design, operational planning, technical coordination, logistics, and performance analysis. The role works closely with field personnel, clients, and internal departments to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective execution of stimulation services while maintaining compliance with company standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare well stimulation programs and treatment designs based on reservoir and well data.
• Coordinate with field engineers, laboratory personnel, logistics teams, and clients to ensure operational readiness.
• Monitor the availability of chemicals, equipment, and operational consumables, and support procurement activities when required.
• Review operational reports, contractor documentation, invoices, and service tickets to ensure technical and contractual compliance.
• Support the preparation of technical reports, post-job evaluations, performance analyses, and monthly departmental reports.
• Maintain engineering standards, operational procedures, and HSE compliance while providing technical support throughout the planning and execution of stimulation operations.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in stimulation, acidizing, hydraulic fracturing, or well intervention operations.
• Knowledge of stimulation treatment design, well data analysis, and oilfield operational procedures.
• Experience with stimulation engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and technical report writing skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to coordinate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
